I recently resealed the intake manifold on a 428 cobra jet in my wife's 67 mercury cougar. After reassembly and checking initial timing the engine will only run with about 30° timing advance. I'm inclined to guess th balancer must have slipped. I've tried two different timing lights.

This young squeaker sometimes has a droopy wing but sometimes it's fine? Flaps and tries to fly but can't. It's sibling is flying well.

I met a union pipe fitter foreman who makes $150 hr yesterday and he said the guys that work below him aren't far off either. Granted this is the CA bay area. Can someone explain like I'm five why there's no job offers anywhere close to that? How do I model my business like them?
