Don't accept compensation if you need medical attention. If it happens that you need to see a doctor, you will write a statement (and include the doctor's report as well) to have the GM open a claim with the hotel's insurance company. Accepting compensation may nullify your more serious claim.

It's a very good thing no compensation has been offered. A properly-trained associate knows to never offer "normal" compensation for serious issues that will involve the hotel's insurance company.

I mean, they pretty much said it's not hotels fault and kept talking about cleanliness (which tbh wasn't great either) and made the whole bed bugs thing sound like it's nothing and said no to any kind of refund. I'm back home now, not sure what will I do
