Advice? My coach says that I overthink in matches

For context, he says that I focus too much on too many things during matches and it causes me to lose opportunities. For example, a lot of times I sprawl against a single leg I don’t know if I should move to their back, go for an underhook to gator roll, or do something else. This causes me to move around a lot causing a weak grip letting my opponent slip away. Especially when I get someone on their stomach, sometimes id go for a half Nelson and when it doesn’t work I try for a cross leg and if that doesn’t work, we get called up cause time. He did say focus on a couple moves per each scenario first and build it in our heads so it becomes instinctive, then build on from there. So how would I go about it? I don’t know where to start. I’m in HS wrestling, and I don’t know if other wrestlers here really focus on a small set of moves before going bigger or Im just rushing things?
