Another email update from my program mentor about the BSBA ---> BSAcc change

Lots of new things have released since we last spoke and my team put me in charge of all the training to become the new program guru and then teach them everything. So… let me fill you in.

You will need to take D388: Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations in the new program. I think someone realized that having a 1 CU course (D100) meet the requirement of a 3 CU course (D388) could cause problems down the line for students who want to sit for the CPA because we can’t give students the other 2 CUs; they would only have the requirement met and not the CUs met. So, we bundled D100 and D075 to meet the requirement of D388. It still benefits you to have taken D100 because it’s a prerequisite for several of the accounting courses and that would have held you up to wait to take D388. Also, D388: Fundamentals of Spreadsheets and Data Presentations has more info than D100, so you’ll still learn more beneficial things about Excel and data presentations in that course 😊

(Please note that she told me I'd have to take D388 because I've not taken D075.)
