Gosh! What happened to Waze?

I've been using Waze since Google bought it, but recently I've been reconsidering my choice. 1. The distance from the time to be told to turn to the actual turn used to be fairly accurate, and it was based on the car's speed, but in the last month ... I've been told to turn 10 feet from the intersection and I've been told to turn while half way through the turn and I've been told to turn after the turn was completed. 2. People have been complaining for months about how the voice starts barking out nonsensical orders directing turns that direct the car in circles, but the map doesn't agree and one should follow the map. 3. I'm pleased to report that #2 has been "fixed" in that the the map now agrees with the voice and will happily show you the circles you are being directed to follow. 4. Today, out of the blue while on a 10 mile leg, Waze says to turn left. The map agrees. I turn left and drive through a seedy neighborhood only to be directed back to the 2 lane road I was already on and to proceed in the direction I was going before the detour. The was no crash or anything else that would prompt this to happen. 5. Later, I was detoured again off a main road and after many turns directed into a rural dead end road (a track actually.) The cows thought I had come to feed them. Then it directed me to backtrack to the main road to carry on.

I've been using mapping software for a long time and expect a glitch here or there, but this is becoming really bad and only in the last month or two.
