I typically keep some background music playing at a soft volume. If the passengers don’t seem interested in a back and forth with me as their driver, I happily oblige and just focus on the road. In this case the couple were pretty deep in convo when they got in the car and kept it going for the duration of the the ride.

Their convo is none of my business, and many details I have no clue about— so I tuned out 90% of what I heard. That is until I heard this man say, “and you know I’m against it, men wearing shorts. I just don’t believe there’s any settings outside of maybe athletics where a man should be wearing shorts. It's not right."
