DEI hurts competent minorities the most.
We have to explain to minorities and women that DEI programs hurt them the most.
I had this DEI discussion with my daughter. She is mixed race and supports or supported DEI. She has worked very hard in school. She was an honors graduate with a B.S in Health Sciences. She worked a couple of years in a lab but really wasn't making any money so she decided to go to nursing school. She will graduate as an RN in April. Again, she is at the top of her class. She already has job offers . She thinks we need DEI. I told her for competent minorities such as yourself it hurts you the most. DEI means you will always be viewed as a DEI hire. When DEI is buried on the ash heap of history you will be viewed as a competent professional.
