Paradise on Hulu – This Writing is Pure Hell

I’m six episodes into Paradise, and I have to ask, what is going on with this writing? The dialogue is so rigid, awkward, and silly. The characters make the most random decisions, and the “cliffhangers” don’t even feel like real cliffhangers. They’re more like soap opera moments, kind of like Scandal when it completely went off the rails.

Right now, I’m just hate-watching this show to see how much more cringe it can get. Is anyone else feeling the same way, or am I asking for too much from it?
