Be honest, does anyone actually go after the forgemaster's fingers anymore?

With like, 10 different orcs ready to give you free access to the strongholds in the early game, does anyone still go to get the quest for the forgemaster's fingers?

Edit: I'm amazed at how many people here are unaware of either the forgemaster's fingers or that orcs outside the strongholds can give the player access without needing to complete the quest.
