Why I love Stephanie Sheh as Usagi?
Simply put—she nails it. Stephanie captures the heart of Usagi just like Kotono Mitsuishi did in the Japanese version. Unlike the DiC or Cloverway dubs, where Usagi was often over-the-top, old and whiny, Stephanie’s portrayal is genuine—you feel her growth, her struggles, and her heart.
She brings Usagi’s vulnerability and strength to life, staying true to the character’s emotional depth. Stephanie understands Usagi, and that’s why she’s the best Usagi Tsukino in English for me, hands down.
