Questions about furniture!

Hi guys! I’m moving into a unit by the end of this month, it came with a desk and chair + bed. I do own a PC (I wfh, school from home depending) and the room isn’t the biggest. I was wondering if it would be weird to ask the lady I’m renting from if I could replace the bed frame with a desk bunk bed to conserve space for myself, and or move the bed around to allow myself more room for a desk. I don’t wanna cause too many issues or questions as I only really asked if I could replace the desk and she said that would be fine. I also have no issue replacing the bed frame upon leaving if that frame is not something she wants advertised. How do I go about asking the furniture question? Or is the furniture none of their business LOL?

It’s a two family home that the woman of the family rents to students on the upper part with its separate kitchen bathroom locks privacy etc for some context. It’s the safest and most affordable I’ve found and don’t wanna have to relook because of this small collision.
