Resident Evil 5 is Bad?

(For context ive played in order re0, re2r, re3r, re4r and now re5)

Im still quite new to the franchise having not played resident evil 6 or 8 yet so maybe my opinion may change later however as of right now i can confidently say resident evil 5 is the worst resident evil game ive played and one of the worst games ive ever played in general in my opinion.

And unlike most people who do dislike this game because they played solo i dislike this game however i did play it co-op so maybe it would be easy to dismiss my criticism saying i didn’t play it with a good person or whatever however that isn’t the case.

We did have fun playing however it’s a bit like playing pool at a bowling alley where the queues are worn to oblivion and the table is cut up. It’s not fun because it’s good, it’s fun because it’s mindless action while you chill with a friend. If you ever remove that friend you quickly fall off cloud 9 and finally get to actually see how god awful the story and boss fights were not to mention the underutilised setting which only really feels important for the first hour or so however even then it feels like a let down as the only ‘puzzle’ present is a boat fetch quest.

It doesn’t resemble survival horror in the slightest and falls short where re4 shines blending action and horror.

I am willing to elaborate on my points a lot further especially about the story in the comments if you’d like before you hit that downvote.

Im not trying to take away from anybody’s enjoyment of the game if you have fun with it then knock yourself out the combat is the best part however i’m merely trying to see why other people hold it in high regard when these flaws really dig at me.
