Does the government have bird flu vaccines in case of a pandemic reaching NZ with all the new cases of bird flu overseas?
Just asking because obviously bird flu isn't at a point where it's become a pandemic, but with all the criticism Ardern's government got from anti vaxxers and the opposition, they might be in a position to also potentially face a pandemic if the cases jump to human to human transmission.
I don't think we're at that point yet with all the cases being from birds or cows to humans. But with the latest outbreaks increasing in the news, what is our government's plan to address the risks?
Do we have vaccines ordered or will we have to do another lockdown?
Personally I'm not concerned yet and I doubt anyone is, but I'm just wondering if we will still be able to go out normally.
