Some tinfoilhattery about Zinogre
Why is Zinogre in Wilds and why is it in a TU?
Let me explain as many of you know Zinogre wasn't supposed to be in Iceborne he was basically added because fans created enough hype that the devs felt they had to include him. I assume it was already planned that he appears in Rise way before he was added last minute to Iceborne. That's why he didn't get a break in Rise.
So why doesn't he get his break in WIlds?
What's now following is a theory that's as dumb as the theory that the series finale of Sherlock was bad on purpose and that a show called Apple Tree Yard was actually the true ending.
So Zinogre probably was again a last minute addition, because he had to be in the game. And why does he have to be in the game? It is for a collab event of course.
Ever heard of the DigimonXMonsterHunter crossover tamagochi thing?

Zinogre has to be in the game for the collab quest, that's definitely coming? If they add ZinoGarurumon to hunt they might as well add base Zinogre.
Something else that speaks for my theory is that a few days ago a new Digimon story game was announced for 2025, so the perfect time for a collaboration between the two games.
It most likely won't happen, but if it does remember I called it!
