How to start learning ML?

Hello. I am very interested in learning ML and AI. I did take a basics course still in the beginning of university, and I would like to deepen my knowledge on this topic, which I find deeply interesting and which tends to bring more and more opportunities in the years to come. I do have a good knowledge of maths: particularly linear algebra and calculus, not so much statistics. I really like studying maths and I wish to know more about the mathematical foundations of ML/AI. But I also would like to develop practical skills: I have used Pandas, Scikit-Learn, Numpy in other projects, but very limited times, and I would like to practice more. With all that: what is the best way to become more professional in this field? Are there any books that are must-reads? Any online courses that are recommended? Where are good places to practice?
