The Lakers have had 5 seasons since 1960 without a superstar.
There have been only FIVE seasons since the Lakers moved from Minneapolis in 1960 when the Lakers did not have a single young or established superstar on their roster:
- 1974-1975 (post Wilt/Jerry West/Elgin)
- 1976-1977 (before Kareem)
- 1994-1995 (post Magic prime/James Worthy)
- 2016-2017 (season after Kobe)
- 2017-2018 (season before LeBron/AD)
Unbelievable. A genuinely insane run of superstars from Wilt/Jerry/Elgin to Kareem/Magic/Worthy to Kobe/Shaq/Pau to Lebron/AD to Luka.
Truly a home to superstars.
