What third language will/do they usually prefer in Hindi states like UP,MP etc

I mean the states whose Mother tongue is Hindi For Eg: Bihar may prefer Bhojpuri and Rajasthan may prefer Rajasthani etc.

Which language is more suitable for the 3rd option logistically in the Hindi states? I feel if NEP is implemented here in TN,3rd language in most school would be Hindi as it's more useful than others and also due to the availability of many teachers.

Edit: This post is not to discuss if three language policy is needed or not.
