So sCam's new "the only friday energy you need" short. I just. Isn't the "you can just choose to have a good day" message a bit tone-deaf coming from someone with that kind of privilege?? Might be easy for her but I got 99 problems and my day is ruined if I stub my toe on the wall or something insanely trivial. I and so many others have tried to just ~decide~ to have a good day and it doesn't wooooork. Making it sound like it's easy just sets people up to fail imo

Idk maybe I'm judging her too harsh, I know she's following an audio and I know it's a message a ton of influencers spew out but like. It's a lot easier to "be in control of your own happiness" when you make the kind of bank that she does. Toxic positivity just bugs me. Reeks of privilege
