What the hell is it with Houston drivers?
I moved here in August from the Midwest (done most of my driving in Chicago, Wisconsin, Indiana). I've driven cross country several times, from California to Maine, been in NYC traffic, DC traffic, LA traffic, whatever.
Houston is by far the worst.
Why don't people use turn signals to indicate an intent to switch lanes? When y'all do bless us and indicate your turns, you hop over as soon as you turn your signals on without checking for space! When I see an open space and turn my signal on, people actually speed up so I can't get into the space! There's merging across double white lines, weaving in and out of traffic, cutting each other off, and plenty of other examples of a total lack of cooperation on the part of Houston drivers that I have never seen before. Not even in Michigan, where the requirement for issuing driver's licenses is whether or not the applicant can identify a car on sight.
Have you ever considered that I-45 might not be backed up with multiple crashes every day if you motherfuckers learned how to drive?
Damn good tacos, though. Houston's not bad. People are friendly. Just the drivers.
