Privilege.

I feel like I’m going fucking insane. I’m seeing people sitting on $1,000 gaming chairs, ordering DoorDash, while streaming on Twitch on their $5,000 computer calling other people privileged in the context of a war happening 1,000’s of miles away. In a country they’ve never visited let alone lived, filled with people they’ve never talked to let alone met. Somehow a dozen or so twitch streamers have instilled themselves as the voice for not only Palestinians, but seemingly all LQBTQ+ & other minorities as well. I don’t know how we’ve allowed ourselves to devolve into such inhumane discussions such as whether or not a teenage girl was actually raped or not? Since when have progressives debated sexual assault & murder? I’m just so discouraged. We shouldn’t even be entertaining these people who think the important discussions to be had are behind computer screens in mansions, debating rape. Just fucking gross.
