Spring Break '25 with Family...
First trip to the Keys next year. We are doing the beach thing in Pompano first to get our sandy beach fix since the Keys aren't known for that. Kids will be 4, 9 and 14. Is it recommended to stay at a resort that offers all the amenities or somewhere cheaper and just spend the days out and about? We also considered splitting it up and doing two days somewhere like Hawks Cay or Lime Tree Bay and another 2 days at something cheaper. We have 4 days total. We are trying to stay on a budget ($700 a night or less/prefer less). We also liked the look of the KCB condos that are individually owned as a home base. What's important for us is having a nice pool, food onsite, kayaks, Paddleboards and the option of watersports. We don't like a party atmosphere. Ideally we would go to the sandbar by boat one day, and also the turtle hospital, Robbies and Dolphin Research center. Lots to squeeze in. Not sure what to prioritize. Thanks in advance!
