Non-Bargaining Remote Employees

Got the message today for my agency that non-bargaining unit employees are now required to report in person, unless they are more than 50 miles away in which case they can report to their closest agency facility... no mention of what they should do if they don't have one within 50 miles though!

After seeing yesterday that people's BUS codes have been changed on their SF-50s, I'd expect that either the plan is to force everyone back into a shoebox regardless of their circumstances. I'm still in the bargaining unit myself and also on a Reasonable Accommodation. I expect them to piss all over my ADA rights and deem that my position cannot be accommodated remotely, at which point I'll be forced into disability retirement.

This is the absolute worst scenario for the workplace infrastructure, especially when they are closing buildings to "cut costs." Overcrowding will certainly ensue, and people will get fed up and quit... but that is the goal too, isn't it?
