What can we even DO? I feel so helpless.

As I have been watching the last six months unfold, and getting absolutely hammered with news of all the policy rollbacks, reading through all the executive orders, amendments, a re-read of the Project 2025 Manual, and all the other wild happenings of the last few days, I find myself in fight or flight mode, hoping for ANY kind of outlet, or way to combat what the Trump administration has in store for Americans.

How do Americans hit the government in the wallet? I see so much about boycotting various companies who donated to Trump, or the national protest on 2/05. But how do American people really make a point, where the government can't ignore it? I feel like boycotting companies isn't going to do much in the way of actually getting the government to listen to the people.

I'm sure many of us suspect protests will lead to a declaration of martial law, or some other wildly disproportionate response to the right to peaceful protest.

I have fantasies of just refusing to outright pay any of my bills any more.

Fantasies of refusing to file and pay taxes.

Refuse to pay my utilities.

Refuse to pay rent.

Refuse to pay any debts. For others, refusal of paying back student loans.

I fantasize about American w-2 workers amending their withholdings so the government gets $0 moving forward. ( I know, I know. Not a good thing, but mentally, I am here.) If you hit the government in the wallet, maybe they'll pay attention.

I fantasize about people pulling out of the stock market, specifically in sectors where government officials trade and make their millions. The resources to track their trading are available and public. Why not target those stocks? Drain them.

Bankrupt them.

Bring them down to the average American's financial level. Remove the financial cushion and make them uncomfortable.

I fantasize about a modern day Robin Hood hacking into the accounts of billionaires, and redistributing the wealth globally to people.

I'm so damn angry watching all this happen. And it feels like the only thing I can do is scream into the void, because the politicians that are supposed to represent the people aren't doing it for us in any meaningful way outside of screaming into the now MAGA controlled social media platforms.

What can we do?

Sorry, I know this is ranty, but I feel like I'm in an alternate reality.
