WTH IS HAPPENING???

I recently started following the whole dream smp thing and wilbur blowing up l'manburg is the last thing my one braincell could understand now I'm this confused mess. I know there is probably a lot to talk about but can someone please comment a detailed explanation of whatever is happening (not everything cause that would probably take forever but if you did I would be so gratefull)
