Why doesn’t the FSC call their title “World Freestyle Champion”?

It makes sense to me that FIDE wants to keep the world championship title since they are a non profit governing body for chess in general but mostly regular chess. If FSC wants to expand to 960 and grow that variant of them, kudos to them even if it’s a for-profit company holding invitational only tournaments. But I don’t understand why they want to call it “world chess championship” when the average viewer will think of regular chess when hearing that title. It would be far better to call it the world freestyle championship or world 960 championship.
