More Builds from a time forgotten

Everyone liked my last post so here are more I found.

If you want the entire lore on the history of Blockheads, read below.

I played this game for over a decade, and had probably over 2,000 hours in it so I know more than most.

Let’s go back to around 2012, there was this user with the tag of MamaFoodSupply. He made this server that was arguably the most popular server at the time, and mind you it was during the hayday of the app.

I can’t, for the life of me, remember the name of the server as it was deleted years ago. It inspired builders to build things you wouldn’t believe are real. Of course, we were just starting to get a hang of things. The first building that was to the sky limit that I saw was on the server. We also started implementing rules like building “plots” for builders, and also having competitions for builders.

Slide 13 is actually one of these competitions, you can see all the similar sized buildings above spawn. I participated in this one, and it was really fun. But the best part? THE CREATOR OF THE APP WAS ONE OF THE JUDGES. I’m not even kidding. The other two judges were mamafoodsupply, obviously, and another user who owned popular servers at the time.

I lost the competition lol.

Anyway, the original server was totally destroyed to a number of things, so we created a new server called Urbano. Urbano was made after the update of ownership signs, so it was WAYYY easier to dedicate spots for building, and not have everything get destroyed.

Ok Urbano is a huge success, we had an olympics where we made donkey races, swimming races, super hard mazes, and fishing and boat games. It was the most fun i’ve ever had on the app ever. People were having the best time.

I was the one who built all the events for the games, and not to mention I made some of the largest builds of the entire game on that server. Just tryst me when I say i’m not exaggerating about the scale of these builds.

Ok that server eventually was corrupted in a couple ways, hackers and such, so we made another one called Atmos. Most of these pics are from Atmos.

It was a BEAUTIFUL server. We made a railway, and path across the whole thing which took ages. There were themed sections, and a survival area.

Now, you don’t understand the scale of which we built on this server. Slide 7 and 10 were the two dividers of this world, in the form of buildings. One side had a “futuristic” theme, the other a “historic” theme. Each building is from the ground level, all the way to the build limit. THEY’RE INSANELY LARGE. I build the futuristic one.

Now how far are they from spawn? Exactly 2 worlds lengths from spawn. It’s a 16x sized world btw. We made a sidewalk 12 blocks deep, and tram underneath it, ALL THE WAY TO EACH BUILDING FROM SPAWN. Not to mention it continues for another 2x worlds on each side.

I’m not kidding.

By the time blockheads was dying, the builds on this server was majestic. I have so many more pics that I will roll out here soon, but the scale, and beauty, of all us kids when we built these was spectacular.

I made friends, people that were so creative and inspired, from this game that I will never forget. I unfortunately have lost contact with MamaFoodSupply, and miss him. We made these servers that remained the most popular on the app until they shut it down.

I will keep the memory alive through pictures like this! More to come!!
