Looking for a pannier that will fit a men's basketball

Hi all,

I am trying to find a pannier that will fit a men's basketball, as the majority of biking my boyfriend does is to the gym and back. Does anyone have any recommendations? PSA: The official diameter of an NBA basketball is between 9.43 and 9.51 inches. The circumference is 29.5 inches.
