Mixed Experience at City of Gods Saturday

I went on Saturday with a bunch of friends and absolutely loved most it - the vast majority of people were nice and friendly and their outfits were amazing! Especially the Chinese dragon and the tall illuminated men. These kind of events are an absolute blast and I want to bring others in the future

But we also had a really vibe killing experience at one point. On the top floor, a girl fell down and needed medical attention at one point. She eventually got up and seemed fine so they just walked her over to the medical tent and gave her water. The music for that room then slowed down a bit and most people left with a bunch of small groups still dancing and taking pictures. My wife and I decided to take a break and sat in some chairs for about 50-60 minutes to chill before eventually asking a staff member and another dancing group to take pictures of us since we were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary, which they were happy to do.

Shortly after, a different lone, random, non-staff member (middle aged karen-type) approached us and stated berating us for taking pictures where someone "almost died" earlier. She claimed that we were instagram influencers (I'm not and my wife is not even on IG) who were purposely taking advantage of the emptier room to mock or even "celebrate" the sick girl's rough night or to get clout on social media. When I reasoned again her that the girl was fine and that this had happened over an hour ago - she started screaming at us so we just walked off to another room to get away from her.

At that point, she started following us down the stairs from room to room screaming "YOU FUCKING DISGUSTING SLUTS, I'M FOLLOWING YOU, YOU FUCKING DISGUSTING SLUTS!" over and over again

My wife is the nicest person I've ever met, very emotionally sensitive, and also an immigrant with lesser English skills so I just started trying to put as much space between her and our new stalker as possible and we just ran into a crowd and escaped her. It was pretty wild for someone to suddenly pick us out of the crowd and make it a mission for her to ruin our night.

My questions is: are these kind of events common here or at events this big? Did anyone else see this or have an experience like this or witness one? It ended up really killing our vibe for the rest of the night sadly and after finding our rave crew, we went home a bit early
