Extremely unpleasant guitar frequencies.

Hello!
I am losing my mind because of these awful frequencies when I record my guitar - its a Fender Squier Strat, I know its not perfect, but surely this cant be normal right?
I cant even EQ these out, cause by the time i take them out, even if its just a db or two and theyre still audible, theres so many of them in the midrange that the guitar becomes very muddy and loses a lot of the good midrange information that I need in my mix.
