New airpods4 have bad sound quality?

I just got new airpods4 and for some reason their sound quality feels way worse than of my old 2nd gen airpods. The sounds just doesn’t feel crisp and clear like it did before. Also they show as connected as a different icon not the regular airpod icon Im used to. Could it be some connection problem affecting the sound quality?
