Xp artist pro 14 gen 2 remote inly

I need help! Their chat is down due to Christmas and I cannot find the answer on Google. I have the latest driver installed and the windows computer is updated. But when I open the pentacles app, it only shows the remote. No work space, pen won't work, nothing. I hope someone can help me. My daughter got this from Santa and I cant figure it out!
