Tired of Henry and Betty

I am watching the show for the first time. I am on episode 5 of season 2.

I like Henry as a character but not for Betty. I think it's kind of shitty to spend time building a relationship with a person whom you know you will leave eventually....even though he doesn't need to. I mean, he doesn't have to go back to Charley. Plenty of people raise children when they aren't together. It's not ideal, but it's not impossible. Or he since he knows he wants to raise the child with Charley, he should have asked Daniel to help him get a job in AZ so he could work on his relationship with her. Wasting Betty's time is so selfish.
