Experience Of Indian Living In UAE / Abu Dhabi
I have been offered a job for a Senior Manager, Analytics position at a well known company in Abu Dhabi. I have close to ~10 years of experience and I'm an Indian currently residing in Singapore for the last 8 years.
The salary that they've offered me is AED 62K per month with a 2 month annual bonus, 1 way round-trip fare for my family, schooling allowance for my kids and health insurance for my family.
I'm really interested in exploring the region, however, before I move I wanted to get your help to understand a few things:
How is the region for Indians? (a recent experience of mine was a little upsetting given I faced bits of racism while visiting places)
I have a child who will soon be eligible for schooling. How are Indian schools in Abu Dhabi? Do we see elements of bullying / racism in schools too?
What are the average monthly expense amounts (for an Indian family of 4)? for food, rent, car, and other basic necessity and utility
