Overwatch 2 announces new game mode with third person mode, hero bans, pickable perks, map voting, lootboxes, and new heroes
Pissed me off the one post on this subreddit about OW2 focused solely on lootboxes so let me talk about all the other shit.
They're introducing perks into the game. You 'level up' twice during a match and you pick a minor perk and then a major perk.

The new Stadium mode is a completely new game mode. It's much more like MOBA where you earn in-game currency that you spend to customize and upgrade your abilities. It also has a third person mode.
Freja is the new damage hero, crossbow and precision mechanics
Hero 44 is a Chinese staff wielder with water powers, current codename is Aqua.
Season 16 will introduce Hero Bans. It will be available for everyone.
Juno and D.Va are getting mythic skins. Juno is also getting a magical girl inspired skin.
