Pros of Ground Slam for PVE

Currently I have air slash, but I am wondering what benefits Ground Slam could have. One of the tougher enemies are the later Turabadas (silver+). Does Ground Slam kick them to the ground so that I can easily hit them down after that?

Edit: Unlearned Air Slash to skill Ground Slam and test it by myself: No, it won't knock the enemies over and is thus useless to me in PVE.

If this does not work are there any other benefits of this skill?

(I play with another guy who will keep air slash so I think about optimizing our little fighting team)
