A decade later?
In the show they have music that the characters here, and music that only we here. e.g. when they find "will" in the water we hear a cover of Bowie's Heroes, but one we hear it. When Hopper is breaking Wills ribs in the upside down in the season 1 finale they play When it's Cold I'd Like To Die by Moby, decent song and all, but the song came out in 1995. Idk how much they care about that aspect of the music being accurate but there are a million songs they could have gone with and they chose that?
