Record breaking ticket sales

For the last week or so it has been impossible to avoid the force fed "hype" surrounding the upcoming Taylor Swift shows at murrayfield. Multiple sources have mentioned that this is a record breaking event for ticket sales in Scotland. This morning though I remembered the run of Still Game live at the Hydro, they had to continuously add new dates to keep up with demand and ended up playing a months worth of shows to a total of 210,000 people. 10,000 more than will be heading to Edinburgh this coming weekend. Its like Irn Bru beating coke for sales here, we'll always back our own

Edit: I'm not against the concerts in the slightest but social media algorithms have made me see many articles relating to it, the BBC and Edinburgh news outlets have all been mentioning it more often so maybe I've been more exposed to a hype than anyone else. Just an observation
