"Flawed and going through it" is how I'd described a number of characters in Scarlet Hollow. Joan and Tabitha fall under this, for sure. Sybil...
I feel like Sybil is going to fall under fictional women being kind of bad people, but the real question is whether she's going to be the "flawed and going through it" kind or the "eating people kind."
And Pearlanne... well. She's fun to hate, though I suppose we can spare some grace for the fact that generational trauma did a number on her.
