Found! Regular-width Carbon-plated shoes for my 2E feet

Hi everyone - like many in the widefootfam I have been looking for carbon-plated shoes.

For context, I am a size 12 with approximately 12cm wide feet (at the widest point), which qualifies me for 2e.

I already own 2e Brooks Ghost, Asics Glideride, and Saucony Speed 3s. But I wanted to try carbon...After searching this subreddit and watching countless YouTube vids I narrowed it down to two, Asics metaspeed sky and NB SuperComp Elite v3. Anyway, the NBs were on special with free 60 day returns so I bit the bullet.

I am happy to report that they arrived yesterday and they are snug but they fit! I just got back from my first 8k run in them and they felt great too. I am currently tapering for 30k event on Sunday but I am very tempted to wear them for it. (Yes I know the rules about never changing things on race day). I might do parkrun tmrw and see if I can break my current record too.
