Imminent TikTok ban in the United States – thoughts?

For me, TikTok is a Chinese Communist spyware and dangerous infowar weapon against Western democracies, which has also been spying on Chinese/Hong Kong dissidents to facilitate their persecution. I have never used but loathed it with a burning heart.

The ban, lamentably, didn’t happen in the final days of Trump’s first term, settled for a few years and poisoned hundreds of millions worldwide – particularly with its encouragement of rampant antisemitism – until the Supreme Court upholds the Congress’ resolution to toss it out of America.

I am not American, but do hope that more democratic countries would follow suit to protect their democracy and stop the massive harm already done to their younger generations.
