Help!! Controllers wont pair.

Just got the psvr2 today and I'm trying to set it up. My problem is, i have plugged my controllers into the console and the ps5 says they are connected. The next prompt says to hit the ps button to pair them, but the ps button is not responding at all, on either controller.
