Bitches love movies

The Alamo Drafthouse season pass is easily the best decision I have made for quality of life. Sharing here because I got tired of gatekeeping - this is hands down the best $30 worth of entertainment you will get in the city.

The deal is, $30 per month and you get to see as many movies as you want. Great theatre, comfy seats, food and drinks brought to you, and they enforce common courtesy (no talking, no texting) norms. Go with your bf or spouse, go with your girls, go by yourself, go with other movie lovers! I thought it would get old fast, and it absolutely has not.

I have gone from seeing something once in a blue moon only on very special occasions, to seeing several movies a month - 3, 4, 6 on a good month. Sometimes they play older crowd pleasers so this weekend, I’m hoping to catch The Return of The King on a big screen for the nostalgia and to catch young Viggo Mortensen looking fine as heck. It’s going to be awesome.

PS. Cedar Local across the street is a phenomenal cocktail bar if you want to make a night of it.
