Help, it’s dying(?)

Hey everyone,

I’ve had this large monstera for about four years. It wasn’t in great shape when I got it but thrived for the first couple of years. I’m no plant expert, but I’ve always kept my plants healthy with basic care (watering and access to sunlight. Also repotting when they look like they’ve outgrown pots). I’ve had the smaller one for maybe 6 years.

Since moving a year ago, both this monstera and a smaller one have been struggling. Last summer, I left them outside during the rain, but the sun came out unexpectedly and burned the leaves. Since then, smaller leaves have turned black—even ones that weren’t originally burned—and the plant hasn’t produced new growth. It also burns easily near the window, especially in summer.

There’s a window 3–4 meters to the right and another 2 meters to the left. Any advice and tips would be appreciated!

(First three pics show the big plant over a year with 6 month intervals - pic 2 taken post-burn. Pic 4 is a close-up of the blackened leaves. Pic 5 is the smaller monstera, and 6 is its current state.)

P.S. I sometimes add coffee grounds to the soil, about once a year.
