Why do they keep confusing us with the next generation who are the worst to manage as adults?

I am 37 and manage a group of 25 and younger. Everytime i talk to someone from gen x and older they say things that apply to the 25 and younger ppls way of being but say millennials. Grinds my gears cause im with them on their venting on people. Thanks ahead just want to know im not the only one running into this sorry if it already a thread
