Unidentified object found under hood

2009 Chevy Tahoe

Found the object under the hood while I was changing my headlight. Recently, I had work done on my car for a Stabilitrak and Traction Control issue. I’m hoping this was a piece removed and replaced by a newer part but I have no idea. Hopefully it’s not an essential part that someone forgot to add back in!
