Is manifestation all about being delusional and mentally living in the world you’re trying to manifest 24/7?

Hello everyone!

Recently, I’ve been getting back into spirituality/manifestation, after taking a long break due to ✨ life struggles. ✨

I’ve been reading and watching videos about manifesting your desires, and the one thing I notice most people talk about is that, in order to manifest your desires, you have to basically be “delusional” about it and pretend that you’re already living that life/that you already have that you desire.

Obviously, I am aware that claiming that you already have whatever it is that you’re trying to manifest is the essential attribute of manifestation, but at the same time, doesn’t that come in contrast with the idea that you shouldn’t obsess over your desires in order to actually attract them? If I’m constantly thinking about my desires, am I not consciously obsessing over them?

Any tips on distinguishing between healthy visualization and unhealthy fixation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for reading, x ❤️
