My girlfriend of a year just broke up with me because of our religion. I'm beyond broken.

Hey I'm just coming on here for any support. This was my first wlw relationship and it lasted a year. We both fell so deeply in love with each other but today, she met with her Bishop and after the meeting she told me she doesn't think this is what God wants. I'm also religious but I don't believe a loving God would deny me love. We had a future planned, and I sacrificed so much for her. She says she still loves me and always will. I cannot love anyone else the way I love her. Also please don't bag on her, she's at the beginning of her queer discovery process and has grown up surrounded by the church.
