good with the kicking, not so much with the boxing part
Hi so i’ve been doing kickboxing for about a year. Ever since i started i was pretty adept with the kicks, but as time goes on, i see that there s a big discrepancy in the boxing aspect of the sport. My punches feel weak and feels sloppy while doing pad work. Moreover, as I watch other people spar, I notice the amount of volume they have with them punches. It’s hard for me to mimic or even get close to the volume of other people. I was thinking about switching to boxing only with my coach for a while but just really enjoy the kicking parts lol.
So does anyone have any tips on how to improve the boxing part or has anyone gone through anything similar?
