New player (quick question about Deluxe)

Hi all,

New player here. I'll be purchasing upon release this month. I heard some veteran players are unhappy with the Deluxe Edition including items from past events. Could someone explain, from a new player perspective, if I'd be able to earn those naturally through gameplay or if they'd be permanently missed? Because if limited items from 2022/2023 are no longer obtainable, then what's wrong with people paying for Deluxe, other than a general upset feeling of "we worked hard, but now others don't have to." Personally, I don't own any Apple products so I couldn't have played even if I wanted to in past years. However, if said limited items are somehow obtainable, I don't mind the grind for a cheaper price.
