How are your Khaki Field Quartz watches holding up?

I'm considering picking up a Khaki Field Quartz 38mm as a beater and wondered if anyone has any positive/negative stories about it so far? I'm not expecting to go diving or anything, but planning on putting it through some DIY challenges, so want to make sure it holds up (dust, dirt, vibrations etc).

Also interested if anyone has any experience with the battery life?
